Pre-clearance Lists, "F" & "G", of Companies Authorized by Transport Canada To Import New Vehicles Manufactured for the Canadian Market (CMVSS)

These lists allow Canada Border Service Agency to screen commercial importers of new (never been owned or licensed), fully-complying Canadian-specification vehicles at border entry points. If the importing company is on either list, the vehicles can be directly imported through customs at any Canadian designated port of entry. These vehicles cannot be imported via the Registrar of Imported Vehicles (RIV) program.  The importer of record identified on the entry documentation must clearly be listed on Appendix F or G to allow entry under pre-clearance.

Note: The onus for claiming pre-clearance status lies with the commercial importers or their agent at the time of importation.
