CONDITIONS

This Equivalency Certificate authorizes Daazraii/North-Wright Airways Ltd., to handle, offer for transport or transport, by aircraft, dangerous goods that are UN1001, ACETYLENE, DISSOLVED, Class 2.1, in a manner that does not comply with subsection 12.1(2) of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, under the following conditions:

(a) the dangerous goods are transported in compliance with section 12.9 -Limited Access of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, except for subsection 12.9(9);

(b) the dangerous goods are loaded aboard the aircraft at the last aerodrome of departure to access the limited access area and no stops are permitted at any other aerodrome except for emergency reasons or re-fuelling;

(c) the dangerous goods are contained in a means of containment that is in compliance with Part 5 of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations;

(d) for cargo aircraft, each means of containment has a capacity less than or equal to 100 L;

CONDITIONS

(e) for passenger carrying aircraft, the total capacity of all means of containment is less than or equal to 120 L;

(f) the means of containment is secured in an upright position or in as near an upright position as possible to prevent movement during transport;

(g) the certificate holder ensures that the personnel handling and transporting the dangerous goods is trained in regards to the conditions of this Equivalency Certificate;

(h) a paper or electronic copy of this Equivalency Certificate accompanies the dangerous goods.

Note: The issuance of this Equivalency Certificate in no way reduces the certificate holder's responsibility to comply with any other requirements of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air, the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code, and the Canadian Aviation Regulationsnot specifically addressed in this certificate.
