CONDITIONS

This Equivalency Certificate authorizes Control Fire Systems Ltd.,to handle, offer for transport or transport, by road vehicle, cylinders in a manner that does not comply with subsection 5.1(1), subparagraph 5.10(1)(a)(i) and subsection 5.10(2) of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, if:

(a) subject to conditions (b) to (e) of this certificate, the requirements in the National Standard of Canada CAN/CSA B340-02, "Selection and Use of Cylinders, Spheres, Tubes, and Other Containers for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Class 2", October 2002, as amended in January 2004 and February 2005, are complied with;

(b) each cylinder was manufactured in accordance with a specification for cylinders set out in subpart C of part 178 of Title 49 of the "Code of Federal Regulations" of the United States;

CONDITIONS

(c) each cylinder contains Heptafluoropropane, Class 2.2, UN3296;

(d) under the terms of this certificate, the cylinders are transported only once from a single consignor to a facility, for the purpose of decommissioning and disposal of the cylinders. The cylinders are not refilled;

(e) the document that accompanies the dangerous goods includes the following information legibly and indelibly printed:

"Equivalency Certificate No. SH 5361 (Ren. 2)"

Note: The issuance of this Equivalency Certificate in no way reduces the certificate holder's responsibility to comply with any other requirements of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations not specifically addressed in this certificate.

Explanatory Note

This Equivalency Certificate authorizes the transport of cylinders manufactured in accordance with the requirements of 49 CFR for the purpose of decommissioning the cylinders and replacing them with cylinders conforming to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations. The certificate holder has demonstrated that when transported under the stipulated conditions, the cylinders could be transported with an equivalent level of safety.
