CONDITIONS

This Equivalency Certificate authorizes S.C. Johnson and Son Limited, to handle, offer for transport or transport, and authorizes any person to handle, offer for transport or transport, by road or railway vehicle, dangerous goods that are:

· UN1950, AEROSOLS, flammable, Class 2.1, or

· UN1950, AEROSOLS, non-flammable, Class 2.2,

in a manner that does not comply with subsections 1.17(2) and 5.11(6) of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, if:

(a) the dangerous goods are aerosol containers manufactured by S.C. Johnson and Son Limited and are intended for retail sale;

(b) each aerosol container is equipped with a valve protection cap;

(c) the aerosol containers are placed into fiberboard trays to prevent them from moving freely;

(d) the fiberboard trays are placed into a fiberboard box, which is banded and secured to a pallet by metal, fabric, or plastic straps to form a single palletized unit;

CONDITIONS

(e) the palletized unit is not opened during transport;

(f) the following information is visibly and legibly displayed on the palletized unit:

(i) the words "Limited Quantity",

(ii) the abbreviation "Ltd. Qty.", or

(iii) the words "Consumer Commodity";

(g) the Equivalency Certificate number "SU 11441" is visibly and legibly displayed on the palletized unit.

Note: The issuance of this Equivalency Certificate in no way reduces the certificate holder's responsibility to comply with any other requirements of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air, the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code, and the Canadian Aviation Regulationsnot specifically addressed in this certificate.

Explanatory Note

This Equivalency Certificate authorizes the certificate holderto handle, offer for transport or transport, dangerous goods that are:

· UN1950, AEROSOLS, flammable, Class 2.1, or

· UN1950, AEROSOLS, non-flammable, Class 2.2,

in a manner that does not comply with subsections 1.17(2) and 5.11(6) of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations.

The dangerous goods are transported as limited quantities and are contained in a means of containment best described as a "Pallet Display" designed to be the actual display unit used at a retail location.
