CONDITIONS

This Equivalency Certificate authorizes M. A. Propane Inc., to handle, offer for transport or transport, and authorizes any person to handle, or transport on behalf the certificate holder by road vehicle, dangerous goods that are UN1075, LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GASES, Class 2.1, or UN1978, PROPANE, Class 2.1, in a manner that does not comply with subsection 4.7(2) of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, under the following conditions:

(a) the label identifying the primary class of the dangerous goods is displayed on the non-cylindrical part (shoulder) of the cylinder;

(b) each side of the label may be reduced to 30 mm in length in accordance with subsection 4.7(2) of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations;

(c) the shipping name and the UN number are displayed next to the primary class label of the dangerous goods in accordance with sections 4.11 and 4.12 of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations;

CONDITIONS

(e) in addition to the requirements of Part 6 (Training) of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, the certificate holder ensures that the personnel handling, offering for transport or transporting the dangerous goods is trained in regards to the conditions of this Equivalency Certificate;

(f) a paper or electronic copy of this Equivalency Certificate accompanies the dangerous goods, or the shipping document that accompanies the dangerous goods includes the following information legibly and indelibly printed:

"Equivalency Certificate No. SH 11375 (Ren. 1)"

Note: The issuance of this Equivalency Certificate in no way reduces the certificate holder's responsibility to comply with any other requirements of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air, the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code, and the Canadian Aviation Regulationsnot specifically addressed in this certificate.
