CONDITIONS

This Equivalency Certificate authorizes Scepter Aluminum Company to handle, offer for transport or transport, and authorizes any person to handle or transport on behalf of the certificate holder, by road or railway vehicle, dangerous goods that are UN2813, WATER-REACTIVE SOLID, N.O.S., Class 4.3, Packing Group III, in Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC), in a manner that does not comply with sections 4.4, 4.15, 4.15.2, and 4.15.3 of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, if:

(a) a tag or transparent pocket is securely attached to the Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC) and contains the following information:

(i) the shipping name,

(ii) the technical name, when applicable,

(iii) the classification,

(iv) the product identification number, and

(v) the packing group number;

CONDITIONS

(b) no dangerous goods other than the ones specified in this Equivalency Certificate are transported on the road vehicle;

(c) the dangerous goods safety marks, required as per Part 4 of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, are displayed on the road vehicle transporting the dangerous goods;

(d) in addition to the requirements of Part 6 (Training) of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, the certificate holder ensures that the personnel handling, offering for transport or transporting the dangerous goods is trained in regards to the conditions of this Equivalency Certificate;

(e) the shipping document that accompanies the dangerous goods includes the following information legibly and indelibly printed:

"Equivalency Certificate No. SU 11267 (Ren. 1)"

Note: The issuance of this Equivalency Certificate in no way reduces the certificate holder's responsibility to comply with any other requirements of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air, the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code, and the Canadian Aviation Regulationsnot specifically addressed in this certificate.
