CONDITIONS

This Equivalency Certificate authorizes 8199400 Canada Inc. doing business as Summit Air, to handle, offer for transport or transport, by cargo aircraft under Part VII of the Canadian Aviation Regulations, dangerous goods that are UN3175, SOLIDS CONTAINING FLAMMABLE LIQUID, N.O.S. (gasoline), Class 4.1, Packing Group II, in a manner that does not comply with columns 12 and 13 of Table 3-1, of Chapter 2 of Part 3 of the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air, incorporated by reference in subsection 12.1(2) of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, under the following conditions:

(a) the dangerous goods are transported to or from a location where access is limited and there is no other practical or readily available means of transport;

(b) the dangerous goods are contained in a small means of containment that is a UN 1A2 drum and that is securely closed;

(c) the maximum gross mass of dangerous goods is less than or equal to 150 kg;

CONDITIONS

(d) the shipping document that accompanies the dangerous goods includes the following information legibly and indelibly printed:

"Equivalency Certificate No. SA 10615 (Ren. 3)"

(e) the air operator ensures that the personnel handling and transporting the dangerous goods is trained in regards to the conditions of this Equivalency Certificate;

(f) a paper or electronic copy of this Equivalency Certificate accompanies the dangerous goods.

Note: The issuance of this Equivalency Certificate in no way reduces the certificate holder's responsibility to comply with any other requirements of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air, the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code, and the Canadian Aviation Regulationsnot specifically addressed in this certificate.
