3.3.1 - Provide Communications Function

This process shall be responsible for sending messages it receives from other processes in this facility to the Manage Emergency Services function. It shall also be responsible for passing on the resulting response to the driver via processes in the Provide Driver and Traveller Services function. This process is also capable of receiving requests for additional data from the Manage Emergency Services function and transmitting follow-up details. This process can also receive commands related to the vehicle's security system from the Manage Emergency Services function and forward the commands to the vehicle's security system
