The regulation, standard or policy by which an aircraft is eligible for registration in Canada. These aircraft are not registered in Canada, but this information is required because the aircraft information stored in the computer system is based on this data. Most models will only have the value of “type certificate”. For some new models there will also be the value of “experimental” until such time as the Canadian Type Certificate is issued.

Request that an aircraft be exported

Notification to Transport Canada Aircraft Registration and Leasing Headquarters that legal custody and control has been transferred to a foreign entity or military, or the Canadian military. Transport Canada Aircraft Registration and Leasing Headquarters will then process the export, update the website and notify you (by email or fax) when it has been completed.
